Young Buck Allhiphop Interview Teaser

The best part of two years has passed since Young Buck was publicly ousted from Hip-Hop supergroup G-Unit. When speaking to him it becomes immediately clear that he has matured, perhaps unsurprisingly after having to overcome a number of career obstacles since his fall from grace with former friend and colleague 50 Cent. Buck wants to move past the whole G-Unit situation but not before setting the record straight with Allhiphop.com once and for all, as he acknowledges that to avoid the subject would be to ignore the proverbial elephant in the room.

‘From my point of view I think it started to go wrong, the relationship with me and 50 Cent…there was a disagreement between Sha Money and 50 at the time and I chose to continue my relationship with Sha Money,’ Buck explains. ‘He basically wanted Yayo and Banks and myself to distance ourselves from Sha Money at the time. They did and I didn’t and from there that’s when the distance from 50 and everybody else started to happen.’ Despite the lapse in time, he is still clearly hurting slightly from the exclusion as he explains, ‘that’s when you started to see the shows without me, the interviews without me and it even got to the point where they started to release the mixtapes without me.’ The disappointment is understandable; after all, it can’t be easy watching something you worked so hard for slip away in an instant…

Look out for Info’s full interview with Buck, coming soon to allhiphop.com.
